As the oldest political and cultural magazine, I believe every politically passionate person should read at least one issue of this prestigious magazine no matter what side you are on. If you’re on the right it is always nice to look at opinions from the other side, for some it can strengthen their arguments.
The Nation is one of those few political magazines that steps aside from politics for a moment to look at other current events that have a cultural impact on our world like sports. The magazine does a great job at combining the two aspects, looking at it from a normal perspective and then from a political aspect. It provides great information regarding politics and events that impact the way our system works in Washington.
I never considered myself an overly political person but this magazine kind of turned me a little bit. Great magazine. Maybe I don’t myself so well after all, lol.
